Every child seen. Every parent informed. Every coach's time respected.
Nurtlo is being built in the UK for grassroots clubs, academies and children's activity providers. It started from a simple observation: brilliant coaching happens every week, but families rarely hear about it.
Why we started Nurtlo
Our daughter trains in gymnastics four and a half hours a week. We love watching her grow in confidence, but as parents with no gymnastics background, we often had no idea how she was really getting on, what she was working on, or how we could help at home. Her coaches clearly knew. They just didn't have time to tell every family.
We soon realised this happens in every club, in every activity, every week. So we built Nurtlo: a simple way for coaches to share what they already notice, in seconds, so every parent feels part of their child's journey.

Why we exist
Parents invest time and money in their children's activities and want to know how they're getting on. Coaches, often volunteers, already know, but have no time to write it down. Clubs struggle to show the value they create, and the information is scattered across spreadsheets, apps and group chats.
Nurtlo is a lightweight layer that sits alongside the systems clubs already use. It types up a coach's few spoken words into an update a family will treasure, in the coach's own words.
What we believe
- The coach's own words. AI types up the voice note and can translate it. It only rewords an update if the coach asks it to. Coaches approve every update.
- Children aren't numbers. No scores, no rankings, no comparisons.
- Less admin, not more. If it adds work for coaches, we've got it wrong.
- Privacy by design. Collect the minimum and protect it carefully.
- Everyone included. Clear language, translation and accessible design.
Building with founding clubs in 2027
The core platform works today: clubs can set up, import families, invite coaches and send coach-approved updates by email. Through the 2027 pilot, we're working with a small number of clubs to refine it before wider launch.
